Comprehensive Nutrition and Lifestyle Support for Chronic Diseases

PandaNutrition

This nutritional therapy service provides dietary consultations based on the principles of the GAPS diet to aid in the recovery from chronic illnesses. GAPS stands for Gut and Psychology/Physiology Syndrome, a nutritional protocol developed by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride.

GAPS is a root-cause dietary approach based on the concept that all disease begins in the gut—a conclusion famously espoused by Hippocrates, the ancient Greek physician and so-called Father of Medicine.

The GAPS protocol is specially designed to help address and alleviate the symptoms of chronic diseases, including autoimmunity, neurological conditions, hormone dysregulation, psychiatric problems, and digestive disorders.

GAPS disorders, although distinct from one another, share an underlying cause and disordered physiological processes. Increased intestinal permeability, abnormal gut flora, and immune dysfunction form a trifecta of factors that predispose to illness and must be specifically targeted to halt disease progression and resolve its origin.

Through my service, I aim to educate on the pertinence of nutrition in disease states and demonstrate how adopting certain lifestyle changes can meet the body's needs for healing, enabling you to achieve freedom from debility.

Disease mechanisms may be complex; however, rehabilitation from longstanding illness doesn’t have to be. Through simplified dietary methods, we can most effectively optimise nutrient intake, thereby enhancing immune function and whole-body health.

We have the power to reverse so much of what has been done to us. For we don’t just have a right to life but a right to live it.
